Academic success isn't a "one size fits all" proposition; therefore, Success in SOMA's independent tutors represent a variety of educational backgrounds, life experiences, teaching styles, and academic specialties. 

So what sets SOMA apart from learning centers and tutoring chains?

	Every SOMA tutor is passionate about his or her specialty area and has joined Success in SOMA in order to be part of an energetic group of educators.
	Many of us are former or current classroom teachers; others are seasoned professionals. None of us are fresh out of college or new to the subjects we tutor.
	We don't impose contracts on families.
	Each student's plan is personally designed to support the school curriculum and is easily adaptible to changing needs. There's no such thing as a "typical" student, so why have a cookie-cutter approach to tutoring?

How does Success in SOMA work?

	Michelle, the founder of Success in SOMA, will set you up with the tutor who best fits your needs.
	We'll schedule your first session, in your home or at a mutually convenient location, and then you and your tutor will figure out a schedule that works for both of you.
	From that point on, Success in SOMA won't meddle in your relationship with your tutor. You will pay your tutor directly, and you have the option of paying per session.
	A tailored lesson plan will be developed by your tutor with your approval.

What if I'm not happy with my tutor?

If you decide that you and your tutor are not a match or if you have any other issues (or if you just want to tell us how much you love your tutor) feel free to contact us. We'll be more than happy to work through any problems, set you up with someone else, or just let your tutor know that you won't need their help any longer. Because you pay per session and don't sign any contract, you have the option of canceling at any time!
